How to clear all reposts on TikTok

TikTok allows users to share videos they enjoy with their followers by using the Repost feature. Reposting helps boost content you like, but sometimes you may want to clean up your For You Page or remove videos you no longer want linked to your profile. While TikTok does not currently offer a one-click option to delete all reposts at once, you can still remove them manually with a few simple steps.

This guide explains how the repost feature works, how to find your reposted videos, and how to clear them.

When you repost a video on TikTok, it becomes visible to your followers and appears on their For You Page with a “Reposted by [your username]” note. However, reposts do not appear on your main profile grid.

This often makes them harder to find, especially if you want to remove one later.

How to Find Your Reposts on TikTok

TikTok recently introduced a dedicated “Reposts” section to make it easier to manage what you have shared. To find it:

  1. Open TikTok on your device.
  2. Tap the Profile icon at the bottom right.
  3. At the top of your profile, locate the tabs such as Videos, Favorites, etc.
  4. Look for the Reposts tab (it may appear as an icon of arrows circling or labeled “Reposts”).
  5. Tap Reposts to view a list of all videos you have reposted.

Note: If you don’t see the Reposts tab, update your TikTok app to the latest version or wait for the feature to roll out in your region.

How to Remove / Clear Reposts One by One

To remove a repost:

  1. Go to your Reposts section.
  2. Select the video you want to remove.
  3. Tap the Share icon (the arrow).
  4. Tap Remove Repost from the menu.

This immediately removes your repost, meaning it will no longer appear to your followers.

How to Remove Reposts If You Don’t Have the Reposts Tab

If your app does not show the Reposts tab, use this alternative method:

  1. Open TikTok.
  2. Go to the Search bar and type your own username.
  3. Look for the Reposted by You label on videos.
  4. Open the video.
  5. Tap ShareRemove Repost.

This method takes longer because you must search manually, but it still works.

Can You Delete All Reposts at Once?

Currently, TikTok does not provide a “Clear All Reposts” button. Each repost must be removed individually. This is a platform choice to prevent accidental mass deletion and misuse.

If you have many reposts and want a faster solution, consider:

  • Reducing future reposts by turning off the repost prompt.
  • Using TikTok from a computer to scroll faster.
  • Removing reposts gradually over several sessions.

How to Avoid Accidental Reposting in the Future

To stop accidental reposts:

  1. Open TikTok.
  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. Look for Repost Settings (if available).
  5. Turn off Repost.

If the feature isn’t visible, be careful when tapping the Share button, as the Repost option often appears near frequently used icons.
