TikTok is one of the world’s most popular social media platforms, allowing users to share videos with millions of people. But sometimes, you might want to keep certain videos private — whether it’s a post you’re not ready to share, content for a limited audience, or just personal videos for yourself. Luckily, TikTok offers multiple ways to hide videos. Here’s everything you need to know.

Make a Video Private
The easiest way to hide a video on TikTok is to change its privacy settings so only you can see it.
Steps:
- Open TikTok and go to your Profile.
- Tap the video you want to hide.
- Tap the three dots (•••) or the Share button.
- Select Privacy settings.
- Tap Who can watch this video and choose Only Me.
Once you do this, the video will disappear from your profile and will only be visible to you. You can change it back later if you want.

Remove a Video from Your Profile (Unlist)
If you want a video to remain accessible via a link but not show on your profile, you can make it unlisted:
- Go to the video.
- Tap ••• > Privacy settings.
- Choose Friends (only people you follow who follow you back can see it) or Private (Only Me).

If you no longer want the video visible to anyone at all:

Note: This permanently removes the video from TikTok, so make sure to save a copy first.
