Human Nature originated in high school as an all-male vocal group called The 4Trax. Next, they had a career-defining meeting with Sony Music Australia CEO & Chairman Denis Handlin AO, through their mentor, broadcaster Alan Jones AO. Their impromptu a cappella rendition of “People Get Ready”, resulted in an immediate signing and a new name, Human Nature.
A major creative shift arrived in 2005 with Reach Out: The Motown Record, an album that topped charts. Its success led to the follow-up Dancing in the Streets – The Songs of Motown II in 2006 and collaborations with Motown icons such as Smokey Robinson, Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves, and The Temptations.
Their association with Smokey Robinson took Human Nature to the United States, where they launched the long-running Smokey Robinson Presents Human Nature: The Motown Show in Las Vegas in 2008. The production held four years at the Imperial Palace before transferring to the Sands Showroom at The Venetian for an additional two-year residency beginning in 2013.
