Self-proclaimed billionaire Madollar Mapesa has once again found himself entangled in controversy after being accused of stealing money meant for his late brother Hassan Odhiambo’s burial.
A Kenyan man, seemingly familiar with Madollar and his family recently came forward to expose him after the businessman allegedly threatened him for speaking about him on social media.
The unidentified whistleblower accused the self-styled tycoon of running away with Sh50,000, funds that had been contributed by villagers to assist in the burial arrangements of his late biological brother.
According to the man, Madollar’s brother, Hassan Odhiambo, who had been residing in Mombasa, reportedly killed a man in the coastal city before fleeing to their rural home to hide from authorities.
While in the village, Hassan is said to have confessed to the killing but later took his own life by hanging.

His sudden death reportedly moved many in the community, prompting them to raise funds to ensure he received a decent send-off.
However, the exposé claims that Madollar Mapesa allegedly pocketed the Sh50,000 contributed for the burial and fled to Nairobi, abandoning his grieving family and villagers.
“So guys, Madollar Mapesa ananitishia. Ametuma proxies wake wanitishie. Mimi huwa sitishiwi. Na ukiendelea kunitishia nitasema chenye ulifanyia sister ya Lencia. Najua unajua Lencia vizuri. I have so much tea about this guy,” the man warned in part of his recorded statement.
The video, published on Truth Watchdog’s Instagram page and seen by this reporter, shows the man alleging that Madollar had dispatched goons to threaten him after learning he was about to “serve the hot tea.”
Unfazed, the man insisted he would not be intimidated, claiming he possesses more damaging information about the flamboyant Nairobi businessman.
“So Madollar had a brother, he’s dead now. The brother is called Hassan Odhiambo. He lived in Mombasa and killed somebody there. When he went to the village, he confessed and later killed himself by hanging. So people contributed money huko ushago ya kumzika. Guess who stole Sh50,000 ya matanga ya Hassan Odhiambo? Madollar Mapesa! Hat huko ushago vibaya sana. So Madollar, mimi huwa sitishangwi. Ukijaribu umekosea, na very soon nitasema chenye ulifanyia Lencia. Mwizi wewe!” he added.

The revelation shocked many Kenyans online, leaving them questioning how someone who claims to be a billionaire could allegedly steal from his own family.
Ironically, Madollar had earlier bragged on social media about fully financing his brother’s funeral and even claimed to have adopted the deceased’s daughter “as a sign of goodwill.”
At the time, netizens showered him with praise for his apparent act of generosity, but the narrative has now dramatically shifted following the new allegations.
Many social media users have since called out Madollar Mapesa, demanding that he address the damning accusations and clarify whether he truly misappropriated the burial funds.
