Politician Millicent Omanga is currently dealing with damage control after setting up her son for online ridicule while celebrating him for turning 20.
Nairobi News understands Omanga’s son Wayne turned 20 on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Being a loving and abled mum, the politician thought it wise to give her son a rare treat.
Millicent Omanga decided to surprise her son Wayne with a multi-million Mercedes Benz as he turned a year older.

The politician took to social media and posted several photos of herself handing over the Mercedes Benz to her son.
She accompanied the photos with a touching caption that read;
“Happy 20th Birthday, my dearest Wayne,
Today marks not just another year, but a milestone in your journey to manhood. Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of my life’s greatest joys.
May this new chapter bring you wisdom, strength, and endless blessings. I pray that God continues to guide your steps, protect your path, and fill your heart with purpose and peace.
Son, always remember; you are loved deeply, and believed in more than you know. Keep shining, son. The world is yours.

Her followers were proud of her for being such a caring mum and duly took to the comments section to laud her for that while wishing Wayne all the happiness and good health as he turned a year older.
However, a section of netizens shifted their attention from the birthday gift and dwelled on Wayne’s physique.
A multitude of netizens were stunned to learn the former nominated senator’s son was just turning 20.
Many could not help but note that the young man looks way too old, fat and unhealthy for a 20-year-old chap.
Quite a number of social media took to body shaming Wayne, insisting the mother should do something to control his weight and rescue his health.
Other netizens took to condemning Omanga for stealing from public coffers and using the proceeds to give her family the best there is in life.
