Former Sailors Gang’s member Shalkido is facing a serious backlash from Kenyans after coming out to beg former nominated Nairobi Senator Millicent Omanga to buy him a second motorbike.
Nairobi News had earlier reported how Shalkido publicly called on fellow Kenyans to help him raise funds so that he can take care of his young family.
In the report, we highlighted how many Kenyans amplified his issue and it attracted the attention of comedian Eric Omondi.
Through his Sisi Kwa Sisi initiative, Eric Omondi met with Shalkido and handed him a brand new motorbike and some money to help him get back on his feet.

Greedy Shalkido
The artist had claimed a motorbike would be a move in the right direction as he would become a rider, make money and feed his family.
However, Shalkido recently came out once again to seek help, this time targeting former nominated Nairobi Senator Millicent Omanga as his blesser.
The artist took to his Instagram page and posted an old photo of himself embracing Omanga, followed by a caption asking her to add him an extra motorcycle.
In his caption, he noted that Omanga has forgotten him.
“Hon_Omanga ulinisahau. Niongezee senke mheshimiwa nitashukuru,” he wrote.
His plea for help from Omanga rubbed netizens the wrong way and a scathing attack they launched against him.
Quite a number called him out for being too lazy and always waiting for handouts instead of working hard for his own money.
A host of them insisted that he is not used to begging having easily experiencing favour from Kenyans when he first came out seeking help.
His critics advised him to work with the one motorbike provided by Eric Omondi and use the proceeds from it to buy himself another motorcycle.
