Kenyan comedian and content creator Mulamwah has left fans talking online after revealing that his luxurious Mercedes Benz was clamped at the airport moments before he boarded a flight to China.
The entertainer disclosed that he traveled to China on Wednesday, May 20, but his trip started on an unfortunate note after airport authorities reportedly immobilised his vehicle at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Taking to his social media pages, Mulamwah lamented over the incident, sharing a photo of the clamped Mercedes Benz parked at the airport.
Despite the inconvenience, the comedian appeared to take the matter lightly, joking that he would deal with it once he returned to Kenya from his overseas trip.
“Jameni huyu sasa ? Imebidi niiwache apo airport nitarudi kuchukua nikitoka china,” Mulamwah captioned the post.
His lamentations came barely minutes after he had informed his followers that he was traveling to China, a trip that immediately sparked curiosity among fans who speculated he could be heading there for business, content creation opportunities or personal ventures.
Mulamwah has in recent years built a reputation as one of Kenya’s most successful online comedians, frequently flaunting his luxurious lifestyle, high-end vehicles and investments.
The comedian has often shared glimpses of his Mercedes Benz on social media, with fans praising his rise from humble beginnings to celebrity status.
However, the airport incident quickly triggered mixed reactions online.
While some fans sympathised with him and encouraged him to enjoy his trip without stressing over the issue, others poked fun at the situation and insisted that he should simply clear the parking charges instead of complaining online.
Some netizens argued that airport parking rules apply equally to everyone regardless of status, while others found humor in the fact that even celebrities are not exempt from penalties and inconveniences.
The incident once again highlighted Mulamwah’s ability to keep his followers entertained with everyday life experiences, something that has helped him maintain relevance in Kenya’s highly competitive entertainment industry.

Over the years, Mulamwah has transformed himself into a major digital influencer, using humor and personal storytelling to build a massive fanbase across social media platforms.
His posts regularly attract thousands of comments, with supporters and critics alike always eager to weigh in on his lifestyle and public antics.
Even with the airport drama, the comedian appeared determined not to let the incident ruin his China trip, maintaining that he would sort out the issue upon his return to the country.
