The outspoken influencer did not hold back as she blasted those comparing her to other women, saying people should stop measuring her against what she termed as “broke girlfriends.”

“Don’t compare me with your broke girlfriends,” she said, maintaining that she is financially independent and earns more than enough to support her lifestyle.

According to Sheryl, her monthly earnings come from multiple streams tied to her online career, including TikTok live sessions, brand partnerships and other digital opportunities.

Her remarks reignited conversations about just how lucrative content creation has become for successful influencers.

The latest revelation comes just days after Sheryl made headlines after emotionally claiming she had been conned out of a Sh12 million ($100,000) prize during an international voting competition held in Burkina Faso.

She alleged that contestants were required to pay hefty daily fees to remain in the competition before she eventually withdrew and exposed the alleged scheme.

Sheryl has previously maintained that she does not rely on men financially, insisting that she pays her own bills through the income she generates online.

She has also stated that TikTok live streaming alone can generate significant daily earnings when viewers send virtual gifts, making content creation her full-time source of income.

Her latest claims, however, divided opinion online, with some applauding her confidence while others questioned whether the figures she quoted were realistic.

Some of the reactions from netizens included:

“If she’s making that kind of money, good for her. Social media is paying people these days.”

“Sh500k every month? That’s hard to believe unless she shows proof.”

“People should stop underestimating content creators. Some are earning more than corporate employees.”

“The ‘don’t compare me to your broke girlfriends’ comment was unnecessary.”

“Whether you like her or not, she’s confident and knows how to keep people talking.”
