Nominated Nairobi Senator Karen Nyamu knows the nerve to touch when she wants to torment Kenyans on social media.
The politician, on Friday, August 22, 2025, caused a melee online after openly lusting over Harambee Stars’ captain Aboud.
Taking to his official social media pages, just minutes before the Harambee Stars versus Madagascar match, Karen posted Aboud’s photo and expressed how much she finds him handsome.

She went ahead to even refer to him as a young millionaire, a move that did not settle well with countless Kenyans.
“Hawa wameanza kua handsome. Young millionaires,” Karen captioned.
In most cases her fans would be divided with some supporting her every move while others condemning her.
However, with her recent post about Aboud, quite a multitude slammed her with many asking her to stop lusting over young men.
A section of those who camped in the comments section of her posts advised her to look for men her own age and leave Harambee Stars’ players alone.
Others even reminded her that they are aware she is in a relationship with Mugithi star Samidoh.

This is not the first time Karen Nyamu openly and publicly expressed her affection towards young men.
A couple of months ago, she landed in trouble after sharing a video of herself flirting with a young American Uber driver during her visit to the US.
In the viral video, Karen was heard heaping praises on the young man, telling him how handsome he is.
With the video too, Kenyans could not let it slide and a mother of all scathing attacks they launched against her.
