Kenyan media personality Oga Obinna has finally addressed the controversy surrounding his fourth baby mama, Tallie, popularly known as Mama Ella, following claims that she was told to leave his home with their young daughter.
The comedian and radio presenter has offered his version of events, disputing the narrative that he personally chased Tallie away and insisting that his decisions were guided by concerns about their daughter, Ella.
The controversy erupted after Tallie shared social media posts suggesting she had been instructed to pack her belongings and leave.
Her remarks sparked widespread discussion, with Kenyans questioning the circumstances surrounding the separation and the arrangements for their child.
In an interview addressing the matter, Obinna explained that he was not in Nairobi when the incident reportedly occurred.
He said he returned home to discover that Tallie and Ella had left, initially believing they had gone to visit a friend.
According to his account, he only learnt about the situation later that night after receiving a message from someone alerting him that Tallie was live on social media.
Obinna said he watched the livestream and took time to process what had happened before reaching out to Tallie with proposals concerning their daughter’s future.
Obinna Explains the Two Options He Presented to Tallie
One of the main issues in the dispute is an alleged message in which Tallie claimed Obinna instructed her to leave his house.
During an earlier TikTok livestream, Tallie said she woke up at Obinna’s residence with Ella before receiving a message telling her to pack her belongings and leave.
She claimed that the message presented her with two options concerning their daughter’s care.
Under the first arrangement, Ella would stay with her mother during the week and spend weekends with Obinna.
The second option would see the child remain with her father during the week while Tallie spent weekends with her.
Tallie said she chose the arrangement that allowed her to remain with Ella during the week because the child was still young and depended heavily on her mother.
She explained that Ella was still breastfeeding and required close supervision, including attention to her feeding, sleeping and personal care.
However, Obinna subsequently offered his own account, maintaining that he did not personally wake Tallie up and order her to leave, as some reports had suggested.
He said he contacted her after taking time to reflect on the situation and asked her to select whichever arrangement she considered best for their daughter.
The two accounts have fuelled public debate, although the circumstances surrounding the alleged message remain disputed.

Why Obinna Is Against a Custody Battle
Obinna also made it clear that he was not interested in engaging in a prolonged fight with Tallie over their daughter.
He acknowledged that Ella had been accustomed to a particular standard of living while staying at his home, but said he did not want the disagreement to escalate into a battle with the child’s mother.
“For me to give Ella the life I want to give Ella means I have to fight with the mother. I’m not interested in that. I don’t have the time. I don’t have the energy. I don’t even have the interest,” he said.
The presenter indicated that he was prepared to continue taking financial responsibility for Ella regardless of where she lived.
His remarks suggest that, despite the disagreements between the two parents, he wants to avoid a situation in which their differences become a prolonged public or legal confrontation.
Obinna also acknowledged that Tallie had not publicly spoken badly about him, saying he appreciated that aspect of their relationship.
The comedian’s position has placed the focus on how the former couple can establish a workable co-parenting arrangement without allowing their personal differences to affect their daughter.
