Twitter influencer Mercy Masai has come out to water down rumours that she was recently beaten up by her new man, MP Oscar Sudi’s two wives over her affair with the politician.
The whole rumour was sparked by a random netizens who claimed the lass suffered in the hands of Sudi’s two wives over the weekend.
This, the social media user shared through an anonymous message sent to Edgar Obare on his Instagram page.
In their allegation, the informer noted that Oscar Sudi’s two wives do not like Mercy.
The anonymous source claimed that the two had ganged up on Mercy and beat her up.

“There is a rumour doing rounds about the two wives ganging up to beat Mercy Masai the new girlfriend,” the source wrote.
Ina quick rejoinder, Mercy shut down the allegations in a TikTok video sighted by Nairobi News.
In the video, Mercy disputed the claims, saying that she had never been in such a situation, and if at all, she is the one who beat up another lady.
“Even if you’ve decided to spread propaganda, why say I was beaten? Who is that trying to claim I was beaten?? I mean, first of all, I’ve been in a situation where I was actually the one who beat someone before. It’s not a good thing, I know, but I have never been beaten. This is news to me as well,” she said.
The influencer wondered where Kenyans were getting their gossip from, holding that they should do their homework well.
“Where are you guys even getting this gossip from? Who is giving you this tea? Anyway, I’m a very good girl, I don’t even think my partner could ever beat me anyway, relationship ni yangu,” Mercy added.

This comes just months after Mercy and Oscar Sudi dropped hints that left netizens with the conclusion that they are an item.
In August, 2025, Mercy and the Kapseret MP sparked dating rumours after she shared photos from her romantic date.
Nairobi News understands Sudi had earlier met with Kalenjin artists in his office, and fans noticed his attire and the diamond watch on his wrist.
Mercy later shared a photo of herself having dinner with her boyfriend at a luxurious restaurant.
Kenyans identified the man as Sudi because he had worn a similar outfit to the one the politician wore during the day.
