Julius Migos Ogamba, Cabinet Secretary for Education, joined President William Ruto during his development tour of the Western region at Toroso Primary School.
The President commissioned newly constructed, state-of-the-art classrooms funded by the M-Pesa Foundation, valued at Sh60 million.
Speaking at the event, President Ruto said, “These classrooms are part of our commitment to improving learning environments for our children. They will provide a safe, modern space for students to thrive and achieve their full potential.”
The ceremony was attended by several top leaders, including “], Speaker of the National Assembly, Wycliffe Oparanya MSMEs Development, and politician”,”Kenneth Lusaka”], Governor of Bungoma County.
Education CS Ogamba praised the initiative, noting that public-private partnerships like this one are key to enhancing the quality of education nationwide.
“These facilities will support both teachers and students in delivering and receiving quality education,” he said.
The project, funded by the M-Pesa Foundation, is part of a broader effort to expand and modernize learning infrastructure across Kenya.
