Prophet Owuor Denies Claims He Prophesied World Will End In August 2

Repentance and Holiness leader Prophet David Owuor vehemently distanced himself from claims that he had earlier predicted the world would end on August 2, 2025.

Through an official statement released on Friday, August 1, 2025, the Repentance and Holiness Church, shut down the claims and termed the reports false and misleading.

Owuor’s church stated that the Prophet has been very clear in his sermons that no one knows the hour of the Messiah’s coming, holding that the reports were inconsistent with this position.

“We, the leadership and congregation of The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, strongly denounce the recent spread of false and misleading information about The World Ending on August 2nd, 2025. Prophet Dr Owuor has always been very categorical on the fact that nobody knows the day or the hour when the Messiah will return, as the Bible clearly states in Matthew 24:36,” Repentance and Holiness Church statement read in part.
