A casual labourer was fatally crushed by a forklift in an incident at a logistics firm in Rabai, Kilifi County.
The deceased was loading a container at the firm’s yard when it accidentally tilted and crushed him, police said
He was identified as Emanuel Mwandogo, 24. He died on the spot, police said.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations, police said of the November 4, 2025 incident.
Meanwhile, two people were separately electrocuted in tragic incidents reported in Homa Bay and Nakuru Counties.
Police said the first incident happened in Rachuonyo, Homa Bay County where a 60-year-old woman was killed in an electrocution.
Police said the incident happened in the Kokech area and left one Caren Atieno dead.
Her body was found outside her sitting room long after the incident had happened, police and locals said.
This was after she touched a clothes line that had been connected to a live wire.
Police said she was removing clothes from the line when she was electrocuted. It emerged the clothesline had been connected to a live wire that electrocuted the woman.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
In Nakuru’s Kiugoine area, a man was electrocuted as he connected power in a church.
Police said Douglas Auda, 29 had been contracted to connect power within a local church when the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
He was to connect the power supply from the main church to its offices, police said.
He was electrocuted while on the roof of the church busy connecting wires and fell off to the ground.
Police said he was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to the burns.

And a three-year-old girl was killed in a fire incident in Kasinga village, Machakos County.
The body of the minor was recovered badly burnt after locals had contained the fire on Tuesday evening, police said.
The fire was caused by a burning candle, police said citing the elder sister of the deceased minor.
She explained she had lit a candle and left it burning in their sitting room as the minor slept in the bedroom. The survivor went out to play before she and the other children notice smoke pillowing from the house.
They raised an alarm and by the time locals had responded the structure had been flattened.
