Four Notorious Burglary Masterminds Arrested In Machakos And Joska Hardware Shop Break-Ins

Detectives have arrested notorious burglary mastermind Wycliffe Matheka Kithuku, alias Uthex, and his accomplices Cynthia Mbithe Musyoka and Jackson Wambua Mutinda for their role in a series of daring hardware break-ins across Machakos and Joska neighborhoods.

During the arrest, authorities recovered a getaway motorcycle (registration number KMGP 114M), along with criminal tools including a bolt cutter and a long metal rod, which were reportedly used to intimidate watchmen during their robberies.

The operation also led to the capture of Brian Wambua Manza in Machakos town.

Under interrogation, Manza directed detectives to a scrap metal dealer, where a stash of stolen goods from a Joska hardware store was uncovered, including 200 kilograms of nails, 25 kilograms of hoop iron, and a laptop.

Investigations revealed that Kithuku, Mutinda, and Manza are all former convicts recently released from Machakos GK Prison.

Their freedom was short-lived as they now face charges and await their day in court.

The four suspects remain in custody, awaiting arraignment, while the recovered items have been secured as evidence.
