Uber Announces 40 Percent Discount On All Products To Celebrate Harambee Stars’ Quarter Final Match

Uber announced a 40% discount on all its products to celebrate the Harambee Stars‘ historic advancement to the quarter-finals of the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024.

The discount code, Uber2CHAN40, will be active on Friday, August 22, 2025, on the day of the match against Madagascar at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

The discount is intended to provide fans with an affordable and convenient way to travel around the city on match day, whether they are heading to the stadium, fan zones, or post-match celebrations.

This initiative aligns with the resourceful spirit of Nairobians who have found creative, budget-friendly ways to navigate match-day traffic and get to the games.

According to Imran Manji, Uber’s General Manager for East & West Africa, the company is happy to offer solutions that support the city’s vibrant fan culture by providing safe, reliable, and affordable transportation.

The company has observed an increase in the use of its Uber Boda service as a quick and affordable way for fans to get to the matches on time.
