Kenyan content creator and car enthusiast 2Mbili has returned to the road in style, unveiling a new BMW X3 just days after his latest vehicle was involved in an accident.
The entertainer shared the exciting update on his social media platforms, revealing that he had taken a six-month break from driving following a series of accidents that left several of his vehicles damaged.
According to 2Mbili, the decision to stay away from the driver’s seat was largely influenced by fatigue, which he said had contributed to some of his previous road mishaps.

However, after having his vehicles taken for repairs and preparing to resume driving, he said he decided to add another vehicle to his collection, this time opting for a BMW X3 SUV.
2Mbili unveils new BMW X3
Celebrating the new acquisition, 2Mbili jokingly connected the BMW name to his faith and relationship with the German marque.
“God Did!! Be My Woman (BMW) Again…” he wrote.
He explained that after taking a break from driving for about six months, he eventually felt ready to get back behind the wheel.
“I Took A Break From Driving 6 Months Ago After A Series Of Accidents From Fatigue!! Got All My Cars Damaged, Took them For Fixing & When I Was About To Get Back On The Road, God Said How About You Add Another Ride, This Time An SUV,” he stated.
The content creator added that he had one major condition when it came to his next vehicle — it had to be a BMW.
“I Told God if Its Not A BMW Let It Wait, God Made It Possible. We Got A BMW X3,” he added.
2Mbili concluded his celebratory message by saying he was ready to return to the roads with a more disciplined approach, while also highlighting the comfort and power offered by his new SUV.
“Am Back On The Roads Disciplined & This Time With More Comfort & Power!! Lets Just Have Enjoyment 💯!! Ride Or Die!! #GodWin,” he wrote.
A history of road accidents
The latest purchase comes against the backdrop of a string of road incidents involving 2Mbili, which have previously raised concern among his followers.
In February 2026, the content creator asked the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) to revoke his driving licence after he experienced two road mishaps within a short period.
He had earlier survived an incident at the notorious Keroka sharp bend while travelling back to Nairobi.
According to his account at the time, the road was wet and his Mitsubishi Lancer skidded before rolling off the road.
He credited residents in the area with coming to his rescue.
The incident came after another serious crash in October 2025, when 2Mbili’s vehicle rammed into a lorry in Kitengela.
He attributed the accident to fatigue, saying he had fallen asleep while driving.
Following the February 2026 incidents, 2Mbili publicly declared that he was quitting driving and indicated that he was considering getting a personal driver whom he could trust.
His latest announcement therefore marks a notable change from his earlier decision to stay away from driving.
2Mbili and his love for BMWs
The new BMW X3 is also consistent with 2Mbili’s long-standing affection for German luxury vehicles.
In December 2025, he was reported to have been using a BMW Z4, a convertible that had attracted interest from artists and content creators who wanted to feature it in their projects.
At the time, he said he was willing to support upcoming creatives by allowing them to use the vehicle for their productions.
His interest in BMWs goes back even further. In 2024, 2Mbili publicly expressed his desire to acquire a BMW X4 valued at about Sh7 million, describing it as his dream birthday gift.
He had also previously disclosed that he owned a BMW 3 Series 320d, which he acquired in 2023.
The new X3 therefore adds another BMW to a collection that has become part of his public image as a car enthusiast and reviewer.

A fresh start behind the wheel
For 2Mbili, the new SUV appears to represent more than just another luxury purchase.
It comes after a period in which he deliberately stepped away from driving and reflected on the role fatigue played in his previous accidents.
His latest message suggests that he intends to approach driving differently this time, promising to be more disciplined while enjoying the comfort and power of his new ride.
The BMW X3 now becomes the latest chapter in 2Mbili’s long-running relationship with luxury vehicles, and, judging from his celebratory message, he is firmly convinced that his return to the road is another reason to give thanks.
“God Win,” he concluded.
