Pavilion Lounge CEO Motiriot Kipkosgei has finally come out to address the nation after he was captured on camera assaulting Bella Comedian.
On Sunday, August 9, a video of Motiriot beating up Bella at a Kalenjin event at Kasarani made rounds on social media attracting the wrath of many Kenyans.
Among them was Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who publicly called out the businessman as he urged him to surrender to police.

In a Facebook post seen by Nairobi News, Sudi wrote:
“The assault on Bella Comedian by Motiriot Kipkosgei aka Pavilion Kipkosgei or Pavilion Lounge is concerning. Violence against women is unacceptable. Kipkosgei surrender yourself to the nearest police station,” Oscar Sudi wrote.
The video of the assault enraged many netizens who thronged social media to call for Motiriot’s arrest.
The pressure was so intense that it forced Motiriot to address the issue.
Speaking in an audio that has fast gone viral on social media, the businessman admitted indeed he beat up Bella.
He noted that he had called Bella aside so that they could talk privately and solve their issue but the latter started screaming, prompting him to rain blows on her.
According to Motiriot, Bella has earlier defamed him online on end despite various warnings against the same.
He insisted Bella has always been talking Ill of him on social media.
“What happened is that this girl… yesterday we met. We had met previously before that event, and I had told her to stop what she was doing online. Yesterday I met her and told her, ‘let’s go speak on the side.’ I took her to the side, and she started screaming, so I beat her because she had soiled my name. We did not get inside the car. I wanted us to talk, so I took her to the side,” he said.

Kenyans were not moved by his explanation and kept calling for his arrest.
It is not yet clear if police have nabbed Motiriot or not but netizens are still not a happy lot following his embarrassing acts.
