Radio 47’s presenter Alex Mwakideu’s older sister Rozinah Mwakideu has come out to address people who have been dragging her online days after sharing her unfortunate experiences with ex-husband Robert Burale.
As earlier reported by Nairobi News, Rozinah recently had a sit down with her brother Alex Mwakideu on his podcast where she opened about her marriage to the motivational speaker.
In the podcast, the mother of one exposed the other side of Robert Burale that most people are not familiar with.
From manipulation, to gay tendencies to conmanship, Rozinah claimed she went through it all while married to Burale.

Robert Burale Exposed
It did not end at that, Rozinah went as far as disclosing their bedroom matters, revealing that Burale starved her sexually during their time together, in the guise of celibacy.
Her revelation, which came about 13 years after divorcing Robert did not settle well with a cross section of Kenyans who took to dragging her and her brother Alex Mwakideu online for setting up Burale.
Many claimed her interview painted Burale in bad light, contrary to how the latter painted her on the same platform hosted by Alex Mwakideu.
The interwebs was divided with some thanking and supporting Rozinah for opening up about her struggles in marriage with Burale.
Others, however, picked issue with the siblings and had a field day with them on social media.
Well, responding to her supporters and critics following her interview and subsequent trolling, Rozinah set the record straight through an Instagram video posted on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The mother of one started by thanking everyone who has been calling to encourage and support her.
According to Rozinah, many thanked her for opening up on issues that most people term as taboo.
She noted that her supporters could not be thankful enough to her for pointing out some of the red flags they should not ignore during courtship and even marriage.

“First of all I want to thank everyone who has been calling and texting me to support and encourage me after the interview I did with my brother. Many lauded me for helping them look out for red flags in their relationships. Others have been calling from diaspora telling me I had spoken for them as they went through the same at some point,,” she said.
She also addressed people criticising her for allegedly throwing Burale under the bus.
Rozinah disclosed that she did the interview to enlighten people and share about her past, having moved on and healed from the same.
She insisted that her intention was never to paint Burale in bad light but share with the world about the challenges most people go through in marriages.
“Amidst all this overwhelming love and support and messages and everything. There is also a group of people who have different opinions which is okay. Am okay with that. People feel that I came out guns blazing, vindictive, malicious and so on but I want you to understand, I did the interview with my brother for the purpose of helping. For the purpose of sharing my story. It may be irrelevant to so many people because it is old but it is still my story and I can share my story. And that is all that there is to it. But I understand, opinions are entitled to everyone. I have healed, I am okay,” Rozinah added.

She reiterated that the interview was not to fight Burale but to help and encourage fellow women in situations she went went through.
She also shut down claims that she shed Burale in bad light out of bitterness and vengeance, holding that she healed and moved on, believing that her ex-husband experienced the same.
“Some people think that I am speaking out of bitterness, unhealed soul and whatever but I have healed and moved on and I believe Robert Burale has also moved on. And so this is not about Rozinah Mwakideu Vs Robert Burale, we are not at war. Am just sharing my story to be helpful to someone, to encourage someone,” Rozinah stated.
Her feedback won even more hearts as countless people thronged the comments section of her video post to thank, support and encourage her to take heart amidst the heavy online criticism.
