“Today has been one of the hardest days of my life. We’ve just laid my baby mama’s body to rest at the K.U funeral home, and I’m now back home — tired, heavy, but also deeply moved.

I want to take this moment to thank every single one of you who has stood by me during this difficult time. Your love, messages, prayers, and presence have given me strength when I had none left,” he wrote.

He went ahead to appreciate his fans, family, and close friends for standing with him.

He also extended special thanks to President William Ruto, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for their condolence messages and support.

“I also want to sincerely thank His Excellency the President of Kenya, the Deputy President, and the Former Deputy President for their kindness, calls, and condolences. Your compassion has meant more than words can express,” he added.

Kanyari admitted that the loss has deeply affected him, but the overwhelming support from Kenyans has offered him comfort.

“This pain is deep, but I’m finding light in the love surrounding me. Thank you all for walking with me through it. I may not respond to everyone right now, but please know — I see you, I feel you, and I’m grateful.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you,” Kanyari posted.

His tribute came shortly after Betty Bayo’s body was booked at the KUTRRH mortuary.

She had been admitted on Friday, November 7 , after being transferred from AAR Hospital along Kiambu Road.

Family sources indicate that Betty succumbed to leukemia.

Her sudden death has shocked fans and the gospel music fraternity, with thousands of Kenyans taking to social media to send condolences and celebrate her legacy.

Betty leaves behind two children whom she shared with Pastor Kanyari.
