Eric Omondi to Build House for Muhoroni Widow Whose Home and Belongings Were Destroyed in Inferno

Kenyan comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi has once again stepped in to support a family in distress after pledging to build a new home for a widow from Muhoroni in Kisumu County whose house was completely destroyed by a devastating fire.

The comedian made the announcement through his social media pages after receiving information about the family’s heartbreaking situation from an assistant chief in the area.

In his emotional post, Eric wrote:

“Hey Guys. TRAM SISI KWA SISI. I just received this video from an Assistant Chief from Muhoroni Kisumu County, Mr. Oyuga. This house belongs to a widow and the girl infront of the house is her Form three daughter who lost everything in the house as well. Hawa tutawajengea Nyumba na huyo Mtoto tupeleke shule. #SisiKwaSisi #ChangingOneLifeAtAtime #InspiringHope.”

According to Eric, the inferno left the widow and her family with nothing. Besides losing their home, the family’s belongings were reduced to ashes, including items belonging to the widow’s daughter, who is currently in Form Three.

The fire has left the family in urgent need of shelter and support as they try to rebuild their lives.

Eric promises a new beginning

Through his Sisi Kwa Sisi initiative, Eric vowed not only to construct a new house for the widow but also ensure that her daughter continues with her education.

The comedian has become widely known for using donations from Kenyans to transform the lives of vulnerable families.

Over the past few years, the initiative has helped victims of disasters, struggling families, children in need of school fees and individuals requiring medical assistance.

Eric has also previously mobilized resources to build homes for needy Kenyans affected by tragedies, earning praise from many for his charitable work.

The announcement quickly attracted thousands of reactions, with many Kenyans praising Eric for once again using his influence to help those in desperate need.
