The accident involved a lorry and two personal cars,” part of the statement read.

St. John Ambulance Kenya’s Kinungi Community First Responders provided crucial first aid at the scene.

This incident follows another recent fatal crash on the Londiani-Muhoroni Highway.

On Monday night, a passenger bus from Climax Sacco collided with a truck, resulting in four deaths and 56 injuries.

The bus, en route to Nairobi, reportedly lost control and swerved off the road, crashing into a sugarcane plantation.

Police confirmed that the bus veered off to the left side of the road as one faces the Londiani direction.

The bodies of the four victims, three women and a man, were taken to St. Vincent de Paul Hospital Mortuary for identification and autopsy.
