Biker Brayo turns down Sh5 million offer from Simon Kabu to reveal his face

Popular internet sensation Brayo Biker has once again proven that his privacy and identity mean more to him than fame or fortune.

The mysterious Nairobi biker, who has captured the hearts of many Kenyans with his generosity and signature FXR helmet, recently turned down a Sh5 million offer from Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu, who dared him to unveil his face.

According to reports, Brayo rejected the lucrative offer on Monday, October 13, when Kabu met him during a bikers’ event in Nairobi.

The businessman shared details of the encounter on social media, expressing disbelief that Brayo would turn down such a huge amount.

“Huyu Brayo the Biker Biker Nairobi huwa nani? Kwa nini hatoi helmet? He had been offered Sh3.2 million before and refused. I even offered him Sh5 million, and he still said no. We met as my daughter Maurine Kabu, together with other bikers, were receiving Mustapha Konvict after riding from South Africa for 43 days and over 16,000 kilometers,” he wrote.

Earlier this year, during an interview with SPM Buzz’s Miss Kithinji, a Kenyan fan offered him $25,000 (about Sh3.2 million) to remove his helmet and reveal his identity, but Brayo respectfully declined.

“It’s tempting $25,000! But let me just remain as Brayo. Thanks, bro,” he said with a smile.

In a past interview with TUKO News, the biker explained that keeping his face hidden is a deliberate choice and an essential part of his brand.

“The helmet stays on, that’s intentional. Biker Nairobi was never about showing a face but standing for every rider out here. The ‘OYAAAH,’ the gear, the cause that’s the message. It’s not about fame; it’s about purpose. I ride faceless so I can speak for many,” he stated.

Brayo added that anonymity keeps him relatable and unifying.

“The helmet has no tribe. You can’t tell where I’m from. Everyone just loves Biker Nairobi. It cuts across. People call me Brayo, and without a second name, they can’t judge me,” Brayo said.

He also revealed that only his close family and work colleagues know his true identity, and that is how he intends to keep it.
