David Moya hits the gym days after being body-shamed online; “Hamkuniambia poa,”


TikToker David Moya who first gain popularity by surprising people with lovely dances and gifts has heeded to Kenyans’ calls and hit the gym about three days after being dragged online over his weight.

Taking to Instagram recently, Moya posted a latest video of himself dancing as he reminded his fans that he still got it.

While some people were touched by the suave dance moves, many shifted their focus on his weight, calling him out for slacking.

A multitude of Moya’s followers admitted he was a good dancer but his excess weight does not look good for him and his business.

Many insisted that they would never be impressed by a fat David Moya should he show up with his current body size.

Unlike most stars, Moya listened to most of his fans who advised him to hit the gym and literally did exactly that.

This, he disclosed through a social media post sighted by this site on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

The dancer posted a photo of himself in a gym and disclosed he had started his weight loss journey.

“Day one at the gym. Hamkuniambia kupunguza kitambi ni kazi. Anyways thanks to one of my fans Veronicah amelipia gym saa hii Sina excuse. Khaligraph Jones amesema gym yake ni private,” he wrote.

His post impressed countless of his fans and followers who thronged the comments section to fuel him.

Moya had taken a long hiatus from his surprise dance gigs , leaving his fans at a crossroads.

Many claimed that the fact that he got married, slowed him down on his online activities.
