Diamond Platnumz’s number one supporter Clayton Revocatus Chipando alias Baba Levo will be vying for the Kigoma MP seat in the upcoming Tanzanian general election after landing a nomination by his party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi(CCM).
Baba Levo who came second in the party nominations was approved by the party in a move that has many people including celebrities such as Diamond Platnumz.
The WCB boss on Monday, August 25, 2025, took to social media to throw his weight behind Baba Levo as he openly declared his support for him.

Diamond For Baba Levo
Diamond posted Baba Levo’s photo in which he had been flanked by his supporters upon landing in Kigoma and disclosed that he is dearly loved by his people.
He also prayed that God lead him all the way to the Tanzanian Parliament.
“Kigoma inakupenda na inakuamini. Mwenyezi Mungu akubariki kwenye kila hatua yako hii ya ubunge wa Kigoma mjini Official Baba Levo,” he wrote.
It should be noted that Baba Levo has always been an ardent Diamond Platnumz’s fan.
Seasoned Politician
Not only has he been promoting Diamond’s songs online but also fighting his critics whenever they attack him.
Baba Levo was once an elected Kigoma mjini Councilor but lost the seat after being jailed.
The MP aspirant was arrested and charged for assaulting police officers.
His five months jail term saw him lose the Councilor seat, forcing him to get back into showbiz.
