From Twitter Feud to Friendship? Katy Perry and Chief Keef Shock Fans With Surprise Reunion

More than a decade after their explosive social media feud shocked the internet, pop superstar Katy Perry and Chicago rapper Chief Keef appear to have officially buried the hatchet.

The unlikely reunion went viral after videos surfaced online showing the two musicians laughing, chatting and hanging out together in what many fans described as one of the most unexpected celebrity linkups of 2026.

The clips, shared across TikTok and Instagram, showed no signs of tension between the pair despite their infamous 2013 fallout.

Their feud dates back 13 years ago when Perry publicly criticized Chief Keef’s controversial hit song “Hate Bein’ Sober.”

At the time, the “Firework” singer tweeted that hearing the song gave her “serious doubt for the world,” a comment that quickly drew backlash from the drill rapper.

Chief Keef responded with a series of angry posts on social media, including threats directed at the pop star.

Perry later attempted to calm the situation by clarifying that she was not personally attacking Keef.

She explained that she was commenting on society’s glorification of intoxication rather than criticizing him directly.

The singer even admitted she enjoyed some of his music, particularly his song “Don’t Like.”

Now, more than a decade later, fans are stunned to see the two artists appearing friendly and relaxed around each other.

According to reports, the reunion may not just be personal but musical as well.

A TikTok clip shared by Perry hinted at a possible collaboration involving her 2013 song “Legendary Lovers.”

The video featured a reworked version of the track with vocals reportedly from Chief Keef, fueling speculation that the former rivals could soon release a remix together.

The possibility of a collaboration has generated major buzz online, especially because “Legendary Lovers” recently experienced a resurgence on TikTok after fans noticed similarities between the song and Keef’s track “Save Me,” which sampled elements of Perry’s music years ago.

For many fans, the reunion highlights how celebrity feuds that once dominated Twitter culture can eventually evolve into friendships , or even business partnerships.

Social media users flooded comment sections with jokes about “healing,” while others praised the pair for moving past old drama.

Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Farrelle Cozart, rose to fame as one of the pioneers of Chicago drill music in the early 2010s and remains one of the genre’s most influential figures.

Meanwhile, Perry continues to remain one of pop music’s biggest global stars, with multiple chart-topping hits and worldwide tours under her belt.

Whether the reunion leads to an official song release remains unclear, but one thing is certain, few people expected Katy Perry and Chief Keef to become one of the internet’s most talked-about celebrity pairings this week.
