Popular U.S-based Kenyan nurse and social media personality Nurse Judy has left netizens stunned after revealing that she is ready to walk away from her glamorous life in the United States despite reportedly earning up to Sh1.3 million per week.

In an emotional video shared online, Judy admitted that while the money in America is good, the lifestyle has left her mentally, emotionally and physically drained.

The outspoken medic, who has inspired many Kenyan nurses to seek greener pastures abroad, said she is now considering relocating back to East Africa to focus on family, love and peace of mind.

According to Judy, living alone in the US has become exhausting, forcing her to rethink what truly matters in life.

“Money is not everything,” she explained in the viral clip, adding that she dreams of becoming a stay-at-home mum and enjoying a simpler life closer to her loved ones.

Judy revealed that she wants to settle down in Kenya and spend more time with her partner and family after years of grinding in the demanding American healthcare system.

Her confession has sparked massive reactions online, especially because she previously encouraged Kenyan nurses to apply for opportunities abroad, where salaries and working conditions are significantly better than back home.

At one point, Judy disclosed that nurses in the United States can make as much as Sh1.3 million weekly depending on their specialization, shifts and overtime hours, figures that amazed many young healthcare workers in Kenya.

The viral material circulating online perfectly captures the contrast between the dream and reality of life abroad.

One image shows Judy confidently dressed in a stylish nurse-inspired outfit, symbolizing success and financial freedom, while another features a young nurse in hospital scrubs taking a mirror selfie during what appears to be a work shift.

For many Kenyan nurses, the US has long been viewed as the land of opportunity.

Thousands continue to leave the country every year seeking better pay, improved working conditions and career growth opportunities in America, the UK and Canada.

However, Judy’s revelation has now opened up a deeper conversation about the hidden emotional cost of life in the diaspora.

Many social media users sympathized with her, saying loneliness, burnout and homesickness are struggles that many immigrants silently battle despite appearing successful online.

Others praised her honesty, noting that peace of mind, family and emotional support can sometimes matter more than huge salaries and luxury lifestyles.

Even with her plans to relocate, Judy maintained that she does not regret moving abroad because the experience transformed her financially and professionally.

Still, she says the time has come to choose happiness over hustle.

Her emotional confession continues to trend online, with many Kenyans applauding her for boldly speaking about the realities of chasing the American dream.
