Huddah Monroe explains why she no longer helps people: “Leave them where they are at”

Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has once again stirred conversation online after revealing why she is no longer quick to help people, even those close to her.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, October 26, the Huddah Cosmetics CEO shared that experience has taught her a tough lesson: people often disappear the moment they achieve success.

“Sometimes you wanna do things with people but you can tell through their behavior, once they level up, that’s it, they’ll cut you off,”Huddah wrote.

“I’ve learnt not to eat with hungry dogs anymore,” she added.

The outspoken beauty noted that while she genuinely wishes to uplift others, she’s now more cautious after being disappointed multiple times.

“Leave them where they’re at,” she added, warning her followers against investing their time and energy in ungrateful people.

This bold confession did not come as a shock to many of her fans, given her past statements about keeping a distance from family members who, according to her, take advantage of her success.

Earlier, the beauty made headlines after being accused of neglecting her mother, who allegedly lives in a poor neighborhood in Thika.

The claims were made by a woman who said she was Huddah’s cousin and shared the story with blogger Edgar Obare on his BNN Classic page.

Responding to the allegations, the socialite confirmed that her mother struggles with alcoholism, admitting she stopped offering help after repeated attempts proved futile.

“They always wanna taint your name. You’ve done all you can, but their money is for alcohol and chilling,” she explained.

Despite the backlash, Huddah stood firm, stating that she has no regrets and will never apologise for protecting her peace and boundaries.

“I can never keep helping lazy people, not now, not even in a hundred years,” she concluded.
