Kenyans have confirmed once again that they detest WCB songstress Zuchu after announcing that she will perform during the CHAN 2025 finals set for Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani on Saturday, August 30.
Nairobi News understands Morocco will be battling it out with Madagascar in the CHAN 2025 finals on the aforementioned date.
Being the highlight of the league, CAF has put in place a number of activities to go down apart from the much-anticipated match.

Zuchu Gearing For Her Performance During CHAN 2025 Finals
Among the activities are performances by various East African musicians, with Tanzania’s Zuchu headlining the show.
The songstress, on the evening of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, announced to her fans that she cannot wait to entertain them during the CHAN 2025 finals.
In a Facebook post seen by this writer, the Sukari crooner expressed her joy and excitement for being part of the historic event.

Kenyans React
While some of her fans congratulated her for the feat, many, specifically Kenyans took to bashing her for trying too hard to conquer the Kenyan market.
A section of netizens reminded her of their beef with her, dating a couple of weeks ago when she blasted Kenyans for attacking Tanzanian president Samia Hassan Suluhu.
Quite a multitude claimed they don’t want to see her performing at Kasarani holding that she is not even talented.
Others picked issue with organisers of the event, CAF for downplaying Kenyan artists and going for ‘foreigners’.
The critics insisted that Kenya is a hotbed of talents who should have been picked for the performance instead of Zuchu.
