A man who has been nursing epilepsy was found dead in his house in Kamatongu village, Mweiga, Nyeri County.
Police said they suspect Batista Wachani Wambugu, 48, was attacked by his disease and fell into a fire that he was preparing and died.
His body was found in his house, police said of the May 16 incident.
The victim was a farm help in a farm in the area and his body was found lying face down over a fireplace within his house.
The body was later moved to the mortuary pending other procedures, police said.
Such patients therefore need special and close care for their survival.
