Former gospel singer Willy Paul has given comedian and MP Jalang’o his flowers in earnest years after showing him that he values him more than even women.
Pozee as he is popularly know recently disclosed that he will forever respect and honour Jalang’o for being the only person who gave him his first ever show with a big paycheck.
According to Pozee, Jalang’o booked him for a show many moons ago and paid him about Sh 70,000, which was the most money he had ever made in music.
That’s not all, Jalang’o even gave him a ride back to his home in Mathare after the show.

“I want to give Jalang’o his flowers. A couple of years ago, this man gave me the first show ever that gave me a lot of money. He paid me about Sh 70,000 and even gave me a lift to my place in his BMW,” Willy Paul revealed.
He added that the gig may have been the best thing Jalang’o ever did for him but how the comedian chose him over his own girlfriend, then is what really moved him.
According to the singer, Jalang’o drove with him to a certain Nairobi estate to pick his then lover before finally dropping him in Mathare.
At the ex-lover’s home, Pozee noticed the comedian disagreeing with his then boo and later learnt it was all because of him.
He stated that the lady wanted him to take a back seat and leave the passenger’s seat for her.
However, Jalang’o refused and asked her to take a back seat, something that really touched and moved Pozee.
Willy Paul insisted that he will forever respect Jalang’o for almost ruining his relationship over a car seat, all because of him.
“Jalang’o even drove me home to Mathare. We passed by a certain estate to pick his then girlfriend. While there, I noticed he was having an argument with his now ex-lover. I took it lightly but later learnt they were arguing because of me. Apparently the lady wanted me to take the back seat so that she can occupy the passenger’s seat. However, Jalang’o refused and let me take the passenger’s seat. With that, I could not respect him more. He chose a brother over a lady,” he added.
His revelation attracted the attention of his fans and those of Jalang’o who camped in the comments section of his video post to laud the Lang’ata MP for being a considerate individual who cares for his brothers.

Not long ago, Willy Paul called out Jalang’o for snubbing him for his Luo Festival event.
In a post sighted by Nairobi News, the singer claimed he has all it takes to hit the Luo Festival stage but was denied the opportunity.
The singer asked if he was not Luo enough to be included in the list of performers at the event.
According to communication students, Pozee cleverly put Jalang’o on the spot for not booking him for the Luo Festival.
“Jalang’o, kulikuwa na Luo Festival ilikua yenyewe lakini Mimi niko na swali….kwani sikuangii mjaluo, eeeh sikuangi mjaluo? Sikuangi mjaluo bro?” Willy Paul wrote.
His post sparked mixed reactions on social media with many people who commented on it holding he sincerely deserved to be among the performers at the Luo Festival.
Others, however, noted that Jalang’o left out Pozee because he did not want him to irritate rich Luo revelers with his shenanigans during the event.
