WCB songstress Zuchu has opened up about her working relationship with her boss Diamond Platnumz after claims that he always favours her because she is his lover.
Well, the singer admitted that indeed Diamond is her man but she knows how to strike a balance between work and romance.
Speaking during a candid interview with BBC, the Sukari crooner also disclosed that she is prepared mentally to become a mum, admitting that she has a loving family that always supports her.

“Nothing has changed, I am still the same person. Even as a wife. However, priorities have now changed. When my husband is at home, he becomes number one,” she disclosed.
According to Zuchu, sometimes she has to remind herself that Diamond is her husband at home and not the owner of the record label she is signed to.
“There are many people who leave sometimes to grow, so I give them my blessings. I have not seen any reason to leave because I have the boss. He is at home with me. But he is not running the label because of music, because East African music does not make that kind of money,” she added.
Asked whether her songs are usually written by Diamond Platnumz, the star vehemently denied the claims and insisted that she works so hard for her craft and she is always driven by her passion for music.
According to Zuchu, she has never been favoured by the singer because they are in love.
She noted that in fact Diamond only comes in to check out her projects when they are done.
“Everything you see me put out as my music, I am working on it. The label is just there to give me money. Everything by Zuchu is done by Zuchu. Gone are those days when Diamond sits there to listen to ‘There is no sleeping, why is this verse like this?’. He is busy. Hectic. He helps me when critiquing and analysing how my project is,” she said.

Her revelation finally put to rest long time allegations that she has been thriving because Diamond Platnumz always focuses on her, investing heavily and even writing songs for her.
Prior to their romantic relationship, Zuchu was just another signee at WBC but she worked hard to become of the label’s top artists.
