A shocking tragedy unfolded in Kampala, Uganda, after an angry mob nearly lynched a man accused of brutally killing four nursery school children in a horrific stabbing attack.
The incident occurred at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school in the Ugandan capital, where the attacker reportedly gained access by disguising himself as a parent.
According to authorities, the man first engaged briefly with the nursery school administrators before locking the gate and launching a vicious assault on the young pupils using a sharp weapon.

Police confirmed that four nursery school children, three boys and one girl, lost their lives in the attack, sending shockwaves across the country.
The motive behind the gruesome killings remains unclear, with investigators saying the suspect is in custody as inquiries continue.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos and heartbreak as teachers raised the alarm and parents rushed to the school upon hearing the news.
Some of the children were attacked inside the compound after the suspect allegedly sealed off escape routes, making it difficult for them to flee.
After carrying out the attack, the suspect attempted to escape into a nearby community but was quickly cornered by furious residents.
In a dramatic turn of events, an enraged mob descended on him, baying for his blood and attempting to lynch him on the spot.
Police officers and military personnel were forced to intervene, firing shots into the air to disperse the crowd and rescue the suspect from the mob’s grip.
He was subsequently bundled into a police vehicle and taken into custody under tight security.

Authorities have since urged the public to remain calm as investigations continue, calling on anyone with information to assist in uncovering the motive behind the attack.
The incident has left the community in deep mourning, with many describing it as one of the most disturbing attacks targeting young children in recent times.
Such acts of violence are considered rare in Kampala, a city of millions, making the tragedy even more devastating.
