Just like many young successful people, gospel singer Daddy Owen enjoyed the finer things that come with life during the peak of his music career.
When money was not an issue in his life, Daddy Owen spent a lot of it on a lot of luxuries, including exotic vacations, living in pricey apartments and driving expensive fuel guzzlers.
While he enjoyed some things he did with his money, he also carries a lot of regrets on some of the things he did with his fortunes, among them; flying a lady to Dubai for a romantic vacation.

Million Dollar Dubai Vacay
Speaking during a sit down with Alex Mwakideu on his new podcast, Owen disclosed that he really regrets sponsoring an exotic Dubai holiday for a Nairobi lady.
According to the musician, he regrets his philanthropy because the lady lied to secure the vacation.
The Systems Ya Kapungala hitmaker narrated how he flew the lady to Dubai thinking she had never been to, only to learnt later that it was not her first time in the Arab country.
The star stated that he felt frustrated and misled after learning finally the truth.
“The most money I have ever spent and regretted is when I took a lady to Dubai. It was a waste of my money. I took her on a vacation there, but the reason I regret it is that she lied about never having been to Dubai before. When we got there, I realised she had been before and had deceived me,” he said.
He also revealed that he wishes he would have started a family then, when he had lots of money.

Major Regret
Owen disclosed having children at the age he was at then would have helped him become a more responsible man and economically smart.
He revealed that at the time, he was in his early twenties and living a life many would envy, owning a car and a sprawling seven-bedroom house fully occupied with friends and relatives.
“My biggest personal regret is that I wish I had had my children earlier. Between the ages of 20 and 23, I was well off. I had cars and a seven-bedroom house, and all the rooms were occupied. I remember that even for trips, like going to Mombasa, we would need two cars because one was not enough,” he revealed.
“Back then, my father kept urging me to get married, and I regret not listening to his advice. Those were the years I could have balanced my wealth and freedom with building a family,” he added.
