Opposition politician Eugene Wamalwa has finally did the needful by paying a hotel bill he had absconded about a year ago.
Wamalwa who was recently exposed for bailing on hotel bill on Friday, July 11, paid up his debt and made it even with his debtor.
Nairobi News has learnt that Wamalwa was forced to pay up his dues after being exposed by a hotel marketer who had earlier taken care of him and his security detail during one of his visits to an undisclosed location.

News of his decent deed was made public by the marketer in question through a Facebook video sighted by this publication.
In her video post, the lady confirmed the politician had cleared the Sh. 33,000 bill he had accrued and squashed the beef amicably.
“On the Eugene Wamalwa video I did yesterday, I want to confirm to you that he has paid Sh. 33,000 ,and we’ve talked in the morning and have resolved the issue. Looks like it was a misunderstanding kidogooo about the payment and all that. So guys the money has been paid,” the lady disclosed.
The latest turn of events unfolded barely 24 hours after the lady publicly called out Eugene Wamalwa for bailing on her.
According to the lady’s earlier exposé, Wamalwa’s debt not only cost her money as she had to pay up but also her job since she was shown the door following the deficit.
The lady noted that her calls to Wamalwa and his team were futile.
In her initial exposé, she claimed that she could not take it easy seeing Wamalwa claiming to be fighting for Gen Zs while crippling them in their hustles.
“Anytime I see Eugene Wamalwa akitetea ma Gen Z naskia vibaya sana. And anytime namwuona sasa na Riggy G naskia vibaya tena sana. Eugene Wamalwa made me pay Sh. 33,000 to a hotel. I was working as a marketer for that hotel. Then I received a call from a friend who referred him and another politician, they were two. I was so excited because I knew politicians are coming so I knew money is coming. So they came, two of them with their security. I remember I am the one who even booked them in at the reception. I didn’t want them to hustle. I took them myself to the hotel. So that other politician, I won’t mention him because he paid for the hotel. But Eugene Wamalwa and his security checked in, they slept and owner of the hotel was happy. But when they woke up, they left. So after they left, the receptionist could not chase up on them because they knew the marketer who brought them will sort everything. My guys, let me tell you. I have been calling them, I have been calling him and everyone who was there but no response. All they told me was that they are paying up but it has been an year but they did not. My boss had me pay the bill and I even lost the job and that was it. The people blocked me.” the lady said in a video that has fast gone viral.
Her revelation caught the attention of many Kenyans who called out Wamalwa for being such a heartless man.
Netizens bashed Wamalwa for pulling such a cheap move despite his affluent status.
