Musician Kevin Bahati has lost one of his most valuable and precious items.
The musician on Saturday, July 26, 2025, took to social media to plead with his fans and Kenyans to help him recover his lost cap.
In a series of videos posted on his Instagram pages, the star first shared one in which fans were seen milling around him after arriving at a yet to be disclosed location.

In the next one, the Mama hitmaker disclosed how unknown youths snatched his one of a kind cap.
Through his caption, Bahati pleaded with Kenyans to assist him in locating whoever stole his Lakers’ Cap, which is very important to him.
According to the musician, the cap is so important to him because it was autographed by the late Kobe Bryant.
He urged fans to help him find his cap and he would gladly gift them with Sh. 50,000 as a token of appreciation.
“Sh. 50,000 for anyone that brings back my black and yellow Lakers CAP. It was a special gift autographed by late Kobe Bryant,” he wrote.

Most of his fans and followers sympathised with him as they also urged others to help in finding his cap.
Others, however, somewhat slammed her holding that he is too rich to worry about a mere cap.
Not long ago, Bahati made headlines after gifting his wife Diana Marua a multi-million ride while celebrating their relationship anniversary.
In his usual demeanor, Bahati set aside seven ful days through which he surprised his wife Diana with gifts everyday.
Since the couple was celebrating their eight relationship anniversary, the star spares the best gift for the last day.
On the eighth day of their celebrations, Bahati gifted Diana Marua a pink G-Wagon Brabus.
Bahati disclosed via various media interviews that he splashed Sh. 45 million on the ride meant for his wife Diana.
To add icing on the cake, the Kumbekumbe crooner had the G-Wagon customised with the colour pink.
Diana was super excited while receiving the gift and she could not help but fall to the ground and cry profusely with joy.
