Excitement as MP Babu Owino enrolls for pilot training: “Sky is the limit”


Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has long been an inspiration to many young Kenyans through his remarkable education journey.

His academic discipline and consistency have motivated countless people, including Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai, one of the latest beneficiaries of his influence.

Nairobi News has learnt that Kaikai, who was recently admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, drew significant inspiration from Babu Owino as he pursued his legal qualifications.

And if anyone assumed the MP’s academic journey ended with his law degree, they may need to think again.

It has now emerged that Babu Owino is studying to become a pilot.

News of his aviation studies was revealed by Kaikai during a celebratory ceremony at his home after his admission to the Bar.

The veteran journalist praised Babu for motivating him throughout his legal studies, commending his unwavering encouragement and personal example.

Kaikai further lauded Babu’s pursuit of a pilot licence, noting that it reflected his continuous drive for growth and excellence.

“I want to sincerely appreciate Babu Owino. He has inspired me in so many ways. Watching his journey, the discipline, the consistency, and the commitment he puts into education, has challenged me personally. Babu has shown that learning truly never stops, no matter your age or your position. And now, seeing him take on the challenge of studying to become a pilot is even more inspiring. His drive to keep upgrading himself and pushing his limits is something I deeply admire. He has motivated me to reflect on my own journey and remember that growth is a lifelong mission,” Kaikai told his guests.

In response, Babu thanked Kaikai for the recognition and celebrated his admission to the Bar, describing the achievement as a product of sacrifice, discipline, and courage.

In a social media post sighted by Nairobi News, Babu wrote:

“Linus Kaikai, thank you for recognising me in your journey to success. The path to the Bar is not an easy one. It demands long hours, sacrifice, determination, and the courage to stand up for justice. Linus Kaikai has not only walked that path, he has done so with humility and purpose. His admission to the legal profession is a testament to his character: someone who continuously seeks to serve society at a higher level.”

News that Babu Owino is studying to become a pilot excited thousands of his supporters, who took to various social media platforms to congratulate and celebrate him.
