Court orders teacher to pay lover Sh23,750 for failing to show up after receiving fare

Gone are the days when women would receive money from their admirers or lovers for a specific purpose such as fare and then spend it on something else without consequences.

In recent times, many who have become accustomed to such behaviors are finding themselves in trouble, thanks to the Small Claims Court.

This was highlighted recently after a Nairobi man successfully sued his lover for failing to show up after receiving money meant for her transport to his house.
