Linda Mwananchi appoints Pauline Njoroge interim head of communication for presidential campaign

The Linda Mwananchi Movement has appointed Pauline Njoroge as the interim head of communication in its Presidential Campaign Secretariat as the movement continues to organise its political structures ahead of the 2027 General Election.

In a statement dated October 13, the movement said its leadership made the appointments during a meeting held on Monday to review progress in its rebranding process and the ongoing establishment of party structures and the Presidential Campaign Secretariat.

Njoroge, who has experience in political and strategic communication, has previously worked on presidential campaigns and with various government institutions and intergovernmental organisations.

The leadership also appointed Fredah Onduso, Abigael Gikonyo and Charity Waweru to the Communication Department, where they will serve in the Digital, Media and Publicity Team.

The appointments form part of the movement’s broader efforts to establish its organisational and communication structures as it prepares for its presidential campaign.

The statement did not specify the duration of Njoroge’s interim appointment or outline the individual responsibilities of the three members of the Digital, Media and Publicity Team.

The movement is slowly establishing a team to help it become a formidable force.
