The Kabete Sub-County Police Commander, Mr. Peter Kimotho (SSP), on Thursday commissioned a new administration block at King’eero Police Station in a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving service delivery.
The project was undertaken in partnership with Fireside Group Engineering Solutions, a technology and infrastructure firm specialising in telecommunications, electrical engineering, renewable energy, and enterprise support services.
The modern facility houses offices for the Deputy Officer Commanding Station (OCS), Anti-Crime Unit, and Petty Crime Unit. It is expected to streamline administrative operations and provide a more conducive working environment for officers, ultimately benefiting residents of the King’eero community.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony held on February 27, 2026, SSP Kimotho lauded the initiative, describing it as a vital investment in security infrastructure and “a pillar of a safe and civilized society.” He expressed appreciation to Fireside Group for supporting public safety efforts through corporate partnership.
Fireside Group Chief Executive Officer Ms. Rebecca Wanjiku said the project reflects the company’s commitment to responsible corporate citizenship. She noted that collaboration between private sector players and public institutions fosters trust, strengthens institutional accountability, and promotes community development.
“This partnership demonstrates how community-focused investment can empower law enforcement agencies with the tools and environment necessary to serve the public effectively,” she said.
