Baba Talisha has officially joined the long list of people who have received the storybook Nairobi welcome.
The popular content creator is currently counting losses after his two expensive phones were stolen during a recently concluded event.
Nairobi News has learnt that the entertainer attended the Mataha Festival held on the night of Saturday, November 8.
However, while at the event, an unknown person made away with his iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The incident completely disrupted his work and mood, judging by a series of posts he shared online shortly afterward.
Taking to his social media platforms, the TikToker explained that the stolen phones contained tons of clients’ completed and ongoing projects.
According to him, losing the devices entirely would deal a major blow to his brand and business.
He is now pleading with the public to help him recover them.
To sweeten the search, he has offered a Sh50,000 reward to anyone with useful leads.
“Good morning? For me it’s a bad morning. Someone stole my 2 phones jana usiku at Mataha Festival. An iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The phones have unedited work and ready projects that are of value to the brands I work for. Sh50K for anyone who will have any leads,” he wrote.
He clarified that buying new phones is not the issue, what he desperately needs are the project files stored in the stolen devices.

“The phones are somewhere in Jamhuri. I called last night; a guy picked like three times before the Samsung S24 Ultra went off. The iPhone has a lot of projects, plus the Samsung. If you have them kindly niletee tu, nitakulipa. Shida si kununua mpya, shida ni hizo kazi ndani ya simu,” he added.
For context, a brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra currently retails at around Sh105,000, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max goes for about Sh175,000 in the Kenyan market.
Well, with that said, that’s quite a huge loss for Baba Talisha.
