Separate reporting by Kass Digital said the body of an unidentified adult was discovered floating in Cheptingting quarry dam in Kaptoboiti Location, Waldai Ward, on Tuesday, September 22.
According to the report, car-wash workers were among the first people to notice the body before authorities were alerted.
The recovery was assisted by 31-year-old Laban Kiplangat, a local resident known for his diving skills, with Sharon Cheptoo also reported to have assisted in retrieving the remains.
